To the best of my recollection the only time speeches were made on this topic was during the 19'70's, at the Silverton Road Shull. These were delivered by Rabbi Weiss. Teachers at Carmel Collage such as Ms Bierman, Mr Gork and Mr Fisher did allude to these matters but in all honesty I cannot remember details. I do recall that in my junior years Sam Earnst's son David was supposedly incarcerated for his views, which I understood at the time were his opposition to the views of the then government.
Anton Harbour and Julian Baskin who were more active in these matters might be able to assist you further. I do not have their contact details.
